Good news

“Everyone has inside of him a piece of good news.
The good news is that you don't know how great you can be,
how much you can love,  what you can accomplish,
and what your potential is."  Anne Frank

Happy Easter everyone.
Posting a few new altered books and creative projects from the weekend.
Mixed Media Monday is hosting a challenge this week on the theme eggs.

Recently I signed on as part of Tattered Angels design team, it has been a creative adventure playing with their colorful products. During the year they have special release glimmer mists or Glimmer of Hope limited editions in honor of charitable and research programs. April is Autism Awareness month being celebrated with Piece of Heart (medium turquoise with gold glimmer)
Only available direct from the Tattered Angels site.

And for more good news, a Glimmer Mist road show down under.

Brisbane will be hosting Wendy Senger and Hedi Swapp on Saturday May 8th for an all day event. It will be at the Palms Hotel up on the north side at Boondall, Cnr Sandgate & Zillmere Roads or about15 minutes north of the airport exit

They are advertising in US $s with the exchange rate now is about $190 from 9 am to 6 pm whole lot of colourful product play, fabulous Wendy and Heidi and oh yeah – me !

Hi Mandy!
The Diary of Ann Frank was one of the first books that truly moved me as a young girl. I was born in '55 and I remember thinking that WWII ended only 10 years before I was born... it made such an impact on me!
She taught me the essence of inner strength~

Mandy, I love your designs... the nest and the music is perfect together. Some of the sweetest songs I know are sung by birds ♥
Happy Easter to you ~
Maria

Congrats on the gig with Tattered Angels. That's awesome. I love your altered book - that soft vintage paper is so pretty. I would so love to get to Brisbane and do a workshop, but alas I won't be able to. Enjoy :D
