Nature Walks

'If one really loves nature, one can find beauty everywhere.' Vincent van Gogh

So very true for the fans of Sky Watch, the sky starts to become a whole lot more interesting when you take the time to notice what is going on up there. Check Sky Watch Friday and 100s of bloggers with their own view of the horizon.  And because we know you like a little local colour and wildlife
And a page from my altered book on seasons with the theme of Mothers for Mixed Media Monday.

Most of the products on this page are from Tattered Angels who are hosting events all month, tutorials with glimmer mist and give aways.

Turning Tides

“When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hang on a minute longer, never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn” Harriet Beecher Stowe
Yippie Skippy it is another Sky Watch Friday, got to love the concept of enjoying the simple pleasures of seeing what is on show in the sky from different parts of the world.

And sharing a little corner of a new creative project.
Tattered Angels (the home of glimmer mist) is hosting a month long party of videos, projects and give aways for May. My altered and mixed media friends will find lots of great ideas that suit our style, click away folks to lots of fun.

And for my Australian readers don’t forget the big Mistified road trip with Heidi Swapp and Wendy Senger bringing glimmer mist fun to Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Happiness

"We act as though comfort and luxury were the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about." Albert Einstein

Thank you to our hosts of Sky Watch Friday, their weekly blog party brings together 100s of enthusiastic bloggers from all over the world with their own view of the horizon. It is a simple concept that really catches the imagination, something as simple as the sky, that we all share provides such a huge variety of entertaining views.

This week's edition of Mixed Media Monday has the theme of dolls and I could not go past this cute little Kewpie Doll, used a gel medium transfer and lots of glimmer mist techniques to the background.

Good news

“Everyone has inside of him a piece of good news.
The good news is that you don't know how great you can be,
how much you can love,  what you can accomplish,
and what your potential is."  Anne Frank
