New Light and New Projects

"I have found you have got to look back at the old things and see them in a new light" John Coltrane

Getting back to creative projects again. . . .
May’s prompt for One Little Word was easy for me, quotes and positive affirmations keep popping up for me each month as a way of keeping the focus. There are so many words that come our way each day, what information you value and keep makes a big difference, the hard part is filtering.  A fold out page holds the journaling about my parents love of words and language that I experience in loving quotes.   The photos are from a recent trip to the Crystal Castle where we enjoyed an avenue of bamboo and a very quiet room that surprised us with banners full of beautiful words, worth remembering.  Thanks to the lovely folks at Maya Road for the cute bird trims.
Art journal pages using Luminarte Radiant Rain and Silks paints over white gel pen masking.
New to do lists were calling out for a pretty new diary, many thanks to the lovely Roadies from Maya Road for their friendship and support over the last few months. Their collection of stamps is pretty and amazing.
Took a quick break to catch up with Amy Tangerine on her tour down under and had lots of fun making new friends and fellow fans of project life. Amy was super generous with her time and take home goodies of embellishments.
And a tutorial on the Project Life theme using Crate Paper  and Maya Road.

Dawn

Getting back to routines around here, morning walks to catch the early morning light, blogging creating and more.  Love the early morning and late afternoon light this time of year  and the way it throws all kinds of colours across the sky.  Linking into Sky Watch Friday where folks from all over the world share photos of what they found in their patch of the sky this week.

saying goodbye

Last week we said goodbye to my number one fan, for those who have been visiting for a while you will know that was my mother.  She loved the way we interact in the blogging world, the comments you left and following your links back, the stories and adventures shared.  She might not have left you a comment but she followed your posts and all the little adventures or photos shared.

Thank you for sharing your photos and stories in your blogs.
Some bloggers comment on the number of people who visit but never comment, and for whatever reason people decide not to say something, maybe that is ok, maybe it is just nice that they took time to visit and we can appreciate that for a moment you made someone smile.

In no particular order, these are some of the folks she visited and enjoyed your blogs and frequently commented on your posts.

Laura with best wishes on your own Spiritual Journey,   Bob The Eagles Brother and his many talented creative projects. Jill who fills her little shop with soulful gifts,  Louise who captures the spirit of the Cape so beautifully and Marilee's sweet creative space, our many many friends on Sky Watch Friday, Martha a fellow mermaid and her adventurous use of colour, Rajiesh sharing fabulous tours across India   and photo cache taking us on amazing journeys across the globe, Arija's lovely garden photos,  Cheering on Nature Girl with her health issues,  Tracy in Scandinavia for an amazing journey focused on the light of living,  and Eileen in MD who is often the first to comment in  my space.   Thank you for your kind words and messages over the last few months, am looking forward to blogging routinely again.
