saying goodbye

Last week we said goodbye to my number one fan, for those who have been visiting for a while you will know that was my mother.  She loved the way we interact in the blogging world, the comments you left and following your links back, the stories and adventures shared.  She might not have left you a comment but she followed your posts and all the little adventures or photos shared.

Thank you for sharing your photos and stories in your blogs.
Some bloggers comment on the number of people who visit but never comment, and for whatever reason people decide not to say something, maybe that is ok, maybe it is just nice that they took time to visit and we can appreciate that for a moment you made someone smile.

In no particular order, these are some of the folks she visited and enjoyed your blogs and frequently commented on your posts.

Laura with best wishes on your own Spiritual Journey,   Bob The Eagles Brother and his many talented creative projects. Jill who fills her little shop with soulful gifts,  Louise who captures the spirit of the Cape so beautifully and Marilee's sweet creative space, our many many friends on Sky Watch Friday, Martha a fellow mermaid and her adventurous use of colour, Rajiesh sharing fabulous tours across India   and photo cache taking us on amazing journeys across the globe, Arija's lovely garden photos,  Cheering on Nature Girl with her health issues,  Tracy in Scandinavia for an amazing journey focused on the light of living,  and Eileen in MD who is often the first to comment in  my space.   Thank you for your kind words and messages over the last few months, am looking forward to blogging routinely again.

I am so sorry for the loss of your mother and sorry as well that I have not been around much. I lost my father at the end of January and my life has been turned upside down since then, culminating in a surgery I had a few weeks ago and have just gotten back to posting about once a week. I know quite well how you must be feeling after your loss and I want you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.

What a lovely remembrance of your mother. Though I haven't visited often just by sharing the blogs she enjoyed I have a small glimpse of the special lady she was.

Oh Mandy, I'm so very sorry that your Mom is no longer with you physically, but of course you KNOW she is/will be with you forever in your heart and all sort of moments will reawaken her memory in you. May her name and memory be for blessing always. May you be comforted and strengthened at this time and over the days weeks months years of loving and grieving that follow. I am deeply honored that your mother followed my blog and hope that it offered her delight and inspiration when she visited.

Bless you dear Mandy.
gentle steps,
laura

Hi Mandy, I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom's passing. You are very fortunate to have such a great Mom but then you already know this. Just remember, "to live in the hearts of those we leave behind is not to die." Take care.
