Making Photos

"You don’t take a photograph, you make it." Ansel Adams

A great quote from one of my favourite landscape photographers with an eye for framing nature’s beauty.
Thank you for your kind messages over the last few weeks. We are in the last stages of saying goodbye to my mother (aka the number one fan) and had lots of computer issues that have kept me from posting. I will be back on line more often when this computer gets sorted and have lots of fun new projects to share soon.

In the mean time click the link to Sky Watch Friday to see how hundreds of people from all over the world have framed up their view of the sky.

Another Ansel Adams quote is “I hope that my work will encourage self expression in others and stimulate the search for beauty and creative excitement in the great world around us.” It very much sums up our mood, something my mother loved is the on line blogging community and how people connect in the electronic world, inspiring each other and cheering on creative ways to celebrate what is good in our world.

Mandy dear, this is a really tough time for you, I watched mine go 25 years ago and still miss her every day.
Your computer problems may have materialised to give you the time to concentrate on your mother and your feelings. Blogging will thill be there when you are ready for it and all your friends will welcome you back with open arms.

I had a three month computer and health problem recently and came back too.

Hugs and Blessings . . . Arija
