The Best Day

“Write in your heart that every day is the best day of the year.” Ralf Waldo Emerson

Isn’t that a lovely thought to start a day, and I love the view up this very long road on the beach, some days it is foggy and overcast and some days it is so bright you can almost see to the earth curving over the horizon.  Click the link to Sky Watch Friday to see what other bloggers have found in their own patch of the sky.
For me the best day is any day I get to follow my dreams and play with colour.

I love those early morning beach walks! The fog lifting & the birds waking up are the best! Thanks for sharing. Where was the pic taken?

Fabulous quotation from Emerson, to go with a wonderful photo. I'd love to be walking there, toward that sky awash in fading shades of lilac.

Mandy, Overcast or sunny, it looks like a great road to wander down and then end up at the beach. Your quotes always "strike a chord" and pass along a good message. So glad to hear about your new job--hope all is going well with it. Have a lovely weekend. Mickie :)

It's been awhile since I've seen a cloudless sky. This one is lovely with the winding road underneath. Great photo! :)
