"To understand the heart and mind of a person, look not at what he has already achieved but what he aspires to. Khalil Gibran
Had to ponder this quote for a while. We generally value what has already been accomplished and how should we value aspirations. Thinking all the kind teachers who have helped me learn the skills that lead to accomplishments, I decided that this week will be devoted to repaying their generosity by believing in others dreams enough to help them find their own way.

You found something beautiful around that corner.
A beautiful sky! I wasn't able to link my post for this Friday, but hopefully later. :)
yes I had to re-post also.
This is lovely and serene. the quote you shared made me pause to consider. Thank you.
A beautiful photo of a gull in flight! Birds in flight always give me an uplifting feeling :o)
You were good to capture the bird. Once I was on the Gold coast, on a boat. I see the fishing eagle, but he was too fast for me.
What a lovely and serene shot!
This is a happy moment, Mandy! That swoop of the gulls wings, and all that blue... perfect! :o) Happy Weekend ((HUGS))
Lovely photo.
Yes, wasn't Blogger a pain this week? I lost all my comments...but not my post. :)
What a glorious picture and beautiful words! X
I love this photo. A bird on the wing always makes a sky more interesting, and this sky was already interesting by itself.

Lovely photo, Mandy. My mother spent time in St. John's attending school when she was in her teens. Small world. :)
(I guess blogger did loose comments, because mine is not here.)

I meant to ask you what kind of wildlife do you rescue?
You are so lucky to live near the water! Lots of pretty views there :)
The splash of water at the feet of your art girl is excellent!
Lovely tranquil scene. What a great quote--never quite thought of it that way, but it does make sense. Mickie :)
