Gratitude

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends and Happy Sky Watch Friday it has been pretty cloudy in these parts.

"If future generations are to remember us more with gratitude than sorrow, we must achieve more than just the miracles of technology. We must also leave them a glimpse of the world as it was when it was created, not just as it looked when we got through with it." Lyndon B. Johnson

Click photo to enlarge the view of a quiet waterway complete with a little boat ready for a row. Too funny when I pulled the car over to take this photo, the radio piped up with the song I speak to the sky, funny about that.

I like the seclusion that this image presents. Peaceful and quiet. The quote from LBJ is fascinating. I would not have attributed a thought like that to the man. Must have been written by a speech writer!!

Synchronicity is always a surprise...love the fact that the racio was playing that song at that precise moment. Nice capture.

It's great to see all this green. Most foliage is dried and brown here.
