Life's Surprises

“Life is a series of surprises” Ralph Waldo Emerson

Just like Sky Watch Friday, you never know what the 100s of bloggers from all over might find to show you this week. My contribution is simply a nice day for a beach walk. Click to enlarge

Nothing says northern NSW like Pandanus trees and big bananas.

Don't forget Steve Irwin Day this week, celebrating his achievements and legacy.

This week I am thankful for friends like JoJo Caramel who was kind enough to send some lovely French postcards to work on an altered book project and another page in my bucket list devoted to the needlecraft of Lesage. And thanks to Tattered Angels for the fun chipboard shapes and amazing colour range.

Such a peaceful scene, a place I'd very much like to stroll. The name of the tree escapes me on this sleepy morning. Remind me please?

Peaceful day,

It's a picture perfect. Though we have the same theme capturing the sky but what makes the difference is the background that makes the photo more awesome. I like the huge tree too.

Looks like a spot to walk and think. It speaks of solitude.

Thanks for visiting my blog and for the encouraging words about my photos. I am an amateur, but I am loving learning photography. :)

I love the flatness of this scene (since I live in the mountains) and also the big tree. Great capture!

Those are some very different trees!

...and the wide open sky. Nice shot, I wondered what the trees were, thanks for telling us.

This photo speaks of loneliness; but the sky points to hope. Nice job!
