Ordinary Miracles

“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle." Albert Einstein

Enjoying beautiful days on the river are something short of a miracle complete with a unexpected surprise of skydivers.

Click on to Sky Watch Friday to enjoy all kinds of beautiful views from all over the world.

Nice surprises include happy mail, this week from Nic Howard in NZ who even added a jumbo block of Cadbury, perfect fuel for creative projects.

The package was topped off with a pretty collection of chipboard shapes from
Dusty Attic (au) fabulous collection I am looking forward to putting to work very soon.

Thank you Nic for introducing us to Dusty Attic - they look like fun.

Longing for the summer. I even can see a parachute jumper. One of my very best friends is a Norwegian champion in parachute jumping, so both your pictures give me really good feelings :)

miracles all around! oh i do love altered books, but am hopeless at them...a couple of times ive gone into that second hand bookstore on (elizebeth?) st & got some old books but the layers always end up looking rigid so i give the books to my youngest brother & sister who love to do it. that link i posted to karens whimsy, was my first peek into blogging about 18 months ago, so it seems special! hope you're having lovely days :)

I love the beach scene with the driftwood. We have lots up here in Coastal BC, runaway logs from booms heading to the mill. I invite you to come see my contribution, a solar halo. - Margy
