Silence

“Silence is the universal refuge” Henry David Thoreau

Posted for Sky Watch Friday, hundreds of bloggers from around the world all sharing their view of the sky.

Using quiet time to start on this year's Christmas cards with a mix of Do Crafts and Kaiser stamps and Christina Re papers.

Such a beautiful photo. I love the colours - the tree branches seems to be disappearing in the dark blue/black cloud. And also the whole composition is amazing.
Happy skywatching:-)

This is beautiful, Mandy!
The clouds behind the tree are not really gray, they're such an intense blue... and of course, I always appreciate your quote. Thinking the same on my way home from work today as I turned off my radio to enjoy some silence ~ Maria

Thanks for the great ideas, and I LOVE old luggage. It would be neat, if at some point I could figure out how to get the luggage to open and the tour name pop out. Any ideas on a good name for the tour of cottages?
And if you know how to make the luggage open, let me know.

At the moment I am sitting here in silence, apart from my keyboard clicking, and it's very relaxing indeed.

I love this card with the delicate design. Your photography is beautiful too. I'm going to have to check out the sky watch blog, it's one of my favorite things to do. Living in the northwest gives me lots of opportunity with clouds as well.
