Looking

“It is not what you look at that matters, it is what you see.”
Henry David Thoreau

A nice quote to share with our Sky Watch Friday friends because there are lots of folks who barely see the sky and then there are those who like to celebrate all the different moods of the sky and share the view from their perspective.

Click on photo to enlarge or the button to see views of the sky from all kinds of different angles.

Shirley from Reflections very kindly shared this blogging award with me recently. It is always such an honor the receive these gifts from blogging friends and fun deciding which bloggers to share the award with or to share with you all as good places to check out for all kinds of reasons.

These are some of the blogs that I like to visit regularly and think you will find them interesting too.

I love that Thoreau quote. Lovely skywatch photo! That walkway is calling to me to take a stroll.

That is so correct. In my post/entries, sometimes the sky is the main attraction; other times it's the supporting cast.

I dont know how you manage to come up with the most appropriate quotes.

A beautiful walkway. It's interesting to see it winding through the trees. One can only imagine following wherever it goes.

I love pictures of winding trails or paths amongst the trees. My eyes appreciated seeing something green. The quote was so appropriate for this site. Thanks.

Great quote. And I'd love to hike along that path in your photo with my own camera -- and maybe the Tonka Unit for company -- and just... be.

The path is very inviting. It is really worthwhile enlarging the picture to see the blue sky peeking out of the clouds.
