Road Less Travelled

Check Sky Watch Friday, where 100s of bloggers find fabulous views of the sky to share with us all.
It is amazing what is on offer in the sky when you take the time to look.

This morning we found lots of misty haze reflected on the glass calm river with streaks across the sky from a local bush fire.

"I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence
Two roads diverged in a wood,
and I - I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference." Robert Frost
If you have any favorite Anne quotes, do share as we only have one left now and saving it for next week.
This is a shadow box picture frame that we recycled with an assortment of all kinds of fun cast offs, dictionary pages, game peices and dolls house furniture.

I love the perspective on this as well as the reflection! Well done. (And the quote is good, even though it's not from Anne of Green Gables.

If the bridge weren't there, you wouldn't be able to see where the sky stopped and the water started. Very nicely captured - and the reflection is just gorgeous. I wonder what Anne would say about this picture!? (BTW - my anti-spam word for this is FWISHY - how cool is that?)

A very beautiful peaceful morning picture. I love the ducks already on the way to work! The dark trees and the reeds give this picture a special allure. Happy SWF. Mandy.

Pearl: What a wonderful reflective view of the river and a great sky. This is one you could frame for sure.
Thanks for your comments on my music. I try to only keep the best country acts and sometimes I listen as I work also. It makes me feel so good that I can share one of my loves with others. I will put a Keith Urban up next week in your honor.

That's truly beautiful. The curve against the stillness of the water is technically brilliant.

Just beautiful! I love the framing with the branches and leaves too!

That really is a "glass calm" river. Makes a pretty picture, although I'm sure the smoke was not what you wanted to see.

I use that Frost quote on my blog. Beautiful photo and I hope that the brush fire is brought under control and that not too much damage is done.. Thank you for visiting my blog.
