Finding what you bring

"Some people go through life trying to find out what the world holds for them only to find out too late that it is what they bring to the world that really counts." Anne of Green Gables

Having fun revisiting with Anne lately and thought we would share this quote for Sky Watch Friday, where 100s of bloggers find fabulous views of the sky to share with us all. It is amazing
what is on offer in the sky when you take the time to look.

Sneak peek of some work we are doing for All About Paper kit club.

In the spirit of bringing to the party Sharon Manning in WA is celebrating on her blog with a rak for a creative tool apron and a review of a new book on making fabric memory books.

And very exciting news for those of us who will not make it to Silver Bella this year the Joli Paquet blog is hosting a month long party in November holiday kits, ideas, recipes, tutorials and more to lift to your holiday mood.

Joli Paquet, is a gathering of creative artist friends Angelina’s Beautiful Cards, Little Pink Studio, Beth Quinn, Donna’s Red Roof, Lori from Faerie Window, just a few of the talented folks who will be making an appearance. They will be selling kits but there is a lot of freebies on offer too, how cool is that ! Click the link so you can bookmark now for their opening day.

Enlarged, I think it's great! And I'm not the right person to ask anyway. And I LOVE your Anne of Green Gables references!

Hi Mandy, enlarged this picture is beautiful; the reflections in the water, the birds flying in and settling on the tree, the colours everthing is really nice.

Nice catch..... Great job! Reminds me the saying,,,, We never know how high we are, till we are called to rise and then, if we are true to plan our statures touch the sky... Happy Skywatch! Hope you can visit my SWF entry too...

Like your quote from Anne. Bit difficult to get just what you want with a point and shoot. Nice try though.

This is a stunning shot - and a place I'm sure Anne would approve of and wax eloquent about. Very nice.

thanks for popping by my blog, re the oars, I too saw one in the beachy shop i go to, can you believe it was $170 for ONE!! I am going to swing by there today and see how they painted it and distressed it - I am thinking of putting one on the deck in an ugly little spot and one over the archway in the breakfast room

oh and I just saw the award, THANKS SO MUCH, I am so glad you like my blog...I think I must have missed that I got it, I feel rude now, eeek, I am having a hard time getting round to keeping up with it all

Lovely photo! I think you would have liked the morning sky on my walk today - a blanket of fog with blazing blue sky above, sorry, no photos though.

Hi, love your skywatch piccy and reflections.
You were asking about reflections, just a thought, lower the camera a little to have more reflections showing and less sky, the camera then will focus more on the reflections than the sky. Hope this helps.

Fish Whisperer said...

Great shot. Imac is right lower you camera a bit to include more of the reflection the you will need to to a little post production work in Photoshop to bring out the sky color.
Cheers

Hi, My dd and I had the best time reading Anne of Greene Gables. We read a lot and that was our all time favorite, those puffy sleeves...
