Thankful On Thursday

Both abundance and lack exist simultaneously in our lives, as parallel realities. It is always our conscious choice which secret garden we will tend... when we choose not to focus on what is missing from our lives but are grateful for the abundance that's present -- love, health, family, friends, work, the joys of nature and personal pursuits that bring us pleasure -- the wasteland of illusion falls away and we experience Heaven on earth. Sarah Ban Breathnach

This week I am thankful for this view that I see every morning from the platform of the commuter train station. If we have to be up at the crack of dawn this is not to bad a vantage point to watch a new day crack open.

Amazing photo. Good for you that you decided to focus on the view outside your window rather than the sleepy feeling inside your head!

oh my - that quotation hit home (my focus on my lack of money, lack of food until the next pay day, etc) with me as i tend to let my mind seize up over the "lack" rather than the good things we have. thank you for sharing that.
