“Beauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart.” Khalil Gibran
Nothing says beaches of northern NSW like Pandanus trees. When I first saw these trees I could not see the beauty in them but now that they are associated with fun filled days on the beach they have a special kind of beauty in a wild and carefree way.
Did you see us on show at the CHA last week? Really enjoying the Tattered Angels range and can't wait to be showing off the newest creations - soon!

Curious looking trees, but they make the view unique
it is amazing how experiences can colour our perception of a thing, & make it dearer somehow!!! i am trying to enjoy the sun, so little time :) loveliest wishes
Beautiful shot, great composition and I love the words! Hope you have a great weekend, Mandy!

Great shot and beautiful words.
Have a good weekend
Great scene and angle. Love the view.
Happy weekend.
great snap again.
That's a beautiful shot. Looks like a great place to spend time relaxing.
These trees create such beautiful coastal scenery and photos! You framed the ocean scene so nicely with the branches! Nice!
Beautiful composition against the blue sky.

Beatiful, BLUE skies. Love that new linky thing that shows thumbnails of your photo at SWF.
This is such a soothing photo, I love the shades of blue!
very nice looking sky & very nice looking ocean, too! Love it
Very exotic looking trees - a great shot.
That looks like a breathtaking spot to visit and the tree is certainly different!
They are odd looking trees! But they somehow belong with the beach!! Love the surf!
Mandy, beautiful shot... the words you paired with it. Beauty is light in your heart. Such an amazing sentiment.
Beautiful scenery, I like Pandanus, they need many years to grow to this size.
Isn't it nice when our memories form a nicer view of what's been in front of us all the time. This photo is so full of 'summer time'--thanks for sharing!
The Pandanus trees look like little palm trees from our beaches. Enjoy your summer, 36 degrees here in Texas. Have a cup a tea and think of me.
Mandy,
The water is beautiful. Love the tree. All around great pic.
smiles, alice
I feel exactly the same way Mandy. I used to think they were stragely sick looking things that needed a good drink. now I love them (pandanus trees) and your right they do say beach. Great pic, cheers Katherine
The photo is stunning. So serene.
We're under a winter storm warning right now. That makes it especially appealing to me to see the ocean and beach.
Would love to visit your country someday.
This is a welcome sight, we've had such dreary weather. It looks like you had a beautiful day.
Those trees must be hardy to live by the sea! Love the photo :)
They sure add to the beauty of the beach here! Cool place!

Isn't it funny how one can find beauty in nature after experiencing a happy memory that involves that place or thing. I think that is true beauty when that happens.
Mandy such a beautiful photo.
Some trees do take some getting used to.
