LIght in the heart

“Beauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart.” Khalil Gibran

Nothing says beaches of northern NSW like Pandanus trees. When I first saw these trees I could not see the beauty in them but now that they are associated with fun filled days on the beach they have a special kind of beauty in a wild and carefree way.

Sky Watch Friday is the same for me, the sky is always there, with lots of different moods that Sky Watch fans from all over find the beauty to share in their photos.

Did you see us on show at the CHA last week? Really enjoying the Tattered Angels range and can't wait to be showing off the newest creations - soon!

These trees create such beautiful coastal scenery and photos! You framed the ocean scene so nicely with the branches! Nice!

That looks like a breathtaking spot to visit and the tree is certainly different!

They are odd looking trees! But they somehow belong with the beach!! Love the surf!

Mandy, beautiful shot... the words you paired with it. Beauty is light in your heart. Such an amazing sentiment.

Beautiful scenery, I like Pandanus, they need many years to grow to this size.

Isn't it nice when our memories form a nicer view of what's been in front of us all the time. This photo is so full of 'summer time'--thanks for sharing!

The Pandanus trees look like little palm trees from our beaches. Enjoy your summer, 36 degrees here in Texas. Have a cup a tea and think of me.

I feel exactly the same way Mandy. I used to think they were stragely sick looking things that needed a good drink. now I love them (pandanus trees) and your right they do say beach. Great pic, cheers Katherine

The photo is stunning. So serene.
We're under a winter storm warning right now. That makes it especially appealing to me to see the ocean and beach.
Would love to visit your country someday.

This is a welcome sight, we've had such dreary weather. It looks like you had a beautiful day.

Those trees must be hardy to live by the sea! Love the photo :)

They sure add to the beauty of the beach here! Cool place!

Isn't it funny how one can find beauty in nature after experiencing a happy memory that involves that place or thing. I think that is true beauty when that happens.
