Happy New Year

Is it 20-10 or 2,000-10 for you?
What ever you call it hope it is a good one for everyone. New Year’s is a great time for celebrating all that is good in our world. For me it is a recent publication in Scrapbooking Memories (AU) with this project from the Rapt in Paper range.

Finding great inspiration through Susan’s gang of Tablescapers including Sarah of the Beach Cottage who have helped me rethink table décor. Don’t rush into packing up your holiday decorations, because you might just have another theme reveal itself, as I found here with silver stars for a New Year’s celebration. Recycling can be fun with a little creative thinking.

All these parties reminded me of a few things to add to our bucket list including the Venice’s Carnival season. Finished this little page with lots of glimmer mist for a special touch of pretty. Am really excited to have joined the Tattered Angels design team this year and looking forward to sharing lots of pretty things soon.

Updated to add:
BLUE BAZAAR is offering readers of my blog a 10% discount on your next order over $40.00. To receive the discount include the following code in the comments field of your order: JANBLOGPM. Note discounts do not apply to items already discounted, on sale or subscriptions. The code is valid until 31st January 2010.

And great new announcements over at Tattered Angels with new products and all kinds of fun new things for the Spring release.

Mandy,

Thanks for coming by my blog and leaving a comment.
Re: eggs for my hand made birds nests:
Most sizes I pick up at garage sales or thrift stores.
The tiny ones for the 1 1/2" pins and spoon easels I make myself out of dough art. (you know, the flour, salt and water stuff).
I just paint them to match whatever tiny bird i am using.

Let me know if i can be of further help.
Now I'm off to check out more of your posts. I really enjoyed this first one. Lovely treasures.

Blessings

Barbara Jean

Very pretty tables, Mandy. You've inspired me to climb up on my kitchen counter & bring down my birdcage to use with candles on my table. Thanks for the idea! :D
