Views from Friday

"To sit in the shade on a fine day and look upon verdure is the most perfect refreshment." Jane Austen

Encarta Dictionary shows Verdure as the green colour associated with lush vegetation. I couldn't stop myself from sneaking a little peek of the beach in there too.

Sky Watch Friday is the prefect way to end a week with hundreds of bloggers sharing their view of the horizon.

Hi, Mandy! What a pretty, shady path with a split rail fence, leading out to the water! :-)

By the way, I've nominated you for a Lemonade Stand Award over on my blog! Hope you'll pop on over and pick it up!

What a lovely path leading to the beach. There's skywatching activity to be had here too, how wonderful.

Enjoy the weekend.

A bath to the beach - reminds me of somewhere we stayed in New Zealand more than eight years ago

That's lovely. I love pictures (both photos and paintings) that have a road or trail. It always makes me want to walk down it to see what there is a little farther on.
