Rainbow Sunrise

May I never miss a sunset or rainbow because I am looking down" Sara June Parker

click to enlarge - it is special
To think I almost missed this surise, I was in a rush, the weather was lousy, stuck in a slow moving line, bright pinks started sneaking over the horizon, at first I thought no too much to do but then the golden glow started and I just had to run back to the beach for a quick moment to appreciate nature putting on a show.
Happy Sky Watch Friday and check out what other bloggers have found to show this week.

Than you to Chenoa who brightened by mail box this week with a petite bead swap box all bejewelled and be ribboned.
Give away comps spotted this week include Sarah’s Beach Cottage, Daina at Candlewick House, and the home of Glimmer Mist.

Good Deeds

A good picture is equivalent to a good deed." Vincent van Gogh

When I saw this quote I knew it was a keeper for my friends in Sky Watch Friday, we do enjoy catching the sky putting on a little show for us and all the more fun when you get to share the experience with friends.
Check Sky Watch Friday for 100s of bloggers from all over sharing their view of the horizon, over Egyptian pyramids, tropical beaches, spectacular mountains, and glorious sunsets spied from someone’s back yard and this view on a random evening walk.

Sharing good news too - what do you think of this new glimmer mist color?
Pop into the Tattered Angels blog for a naming party that might see you playing with the newest colors.

Simple Pleasures

"It is the sweet, simple things of life which are the real ones after all."
Laura Ingalls Wilder

Sky Watch Friday was started by sweet idea from Dot 3 years ago, with the simple concept of appreciating the view up in the sky.  It can be an entertaining show, always something different and best of all free to all. Collecting hundreds of friends along the way Sky Watch continues to grow and sure makes my week. Thank you to our kind hosts and bloggers who participate every week.
Another weekly visit & birthday is Christina’s Soul Aperture where she too celebrates the simple joys in life.  Have a great weekend everyone and remember it is a crazy old world out there sometimes, all the more reason to celebrate all that is simply good.
For me, simple pleasures include art journals using colourful glimmer mists for glittering accents and trims. This one is part of a challenge going on at Gall Creative &  Scrapping Outback, with lots or prizes to win over there this week.

For my friends that like a little on line cropping and scrapping action, a special invitation to join in a cyber crop over at Scrapping Outback. Starts Friday July 15 and runs through the week. They lured me in with the cutest range of chipboard titles and shapes but found them all to be so friendly it has become a favourite place to hang out.

Sight of the shore

"In order to discover new lands you have to loose sight of the shore" French Writer Andre Gide Winner nobel peace prize 1947

Sky Watch Friday is the best fun with 100s of bloggers from all over coming together to celebrate what they found in their patch of the sky this week. Seasonal Solstice often brings beautiful moons and colourful sunrises, can’t wait to share them all with you over the next few weeks. Click Sky Watch Friday to see what everyone else is sharing.  Or for pretty pink give aways click here. Solstice is often a time of new adventures including the launch of my friend Helen Nguyen’s Feel Good Wellness Coaching in Brisbane. Helen is a fun personality that I keep running into at different events around town where she is always bursting with energy and new adventures.
